Yes i know i'm kissing her check and i don't care. She's my #1 best friend ever. She's been the one person keeping out all of the hate and evil things that could possibly hurt me. She's seen me at my worst and she pretty much knows everything about me. She's the love of my life. I would really die if i didn't have her.

Marelle has been the one person that i can turn to for everything. I remember when I first met her, my parents wanted me to have nothing to do with her, but because i went against their will, i've never been happier. If you've ever seen me with this girl you'd understand. She's been able to make me smile, even when i thought that there was no hope possible. She's also my romeo, and i don't know what i would do without her<33

This video reminds me of Romeo and Juliet because this is one of my best friends. She's the person that I've always been able to turn to for everything. She's my twin, and i couldn't imagine my life without her. If i lost anna , how juliet lost romeo, i would be so lost, and i wouldn't know what to do with my life. Anna brings out the best in me, and makes me relise how much i have going for myself. She's my romeo, but with women parts. ^_^

She's one of the things i COULDN'T live without. She's known me my whole life, and she's still stuck by me. it's amazing. I would be utterly lost and confused without my banana kruton. She's everything to me.

The photo i took realtes to the play because it shows everything Juliet has, adn the one thing she wants. You see all the glourious iteams, and and top of the tiarra you see a wedding ring. The wedding ring represents her love for romeo, even though it is surrounded by her family's wises. The other iteams represtents her family, they give her everything, yet she has to had the one that actually means something to her. It shows how her parents think they know what's best for her, paris, but they truly don't.

Romeo and Juliet: Act Two

The one scene that always sticks out to me is the scene with romeo and juliet at night on the balcony. This scene has always been my favorite scene because it's like every girls prince charming entarance. This is the one thing that can always make me smile. thinking of the times that my baby's come up to my window just to see me for a few seconds, makes me smile.

This scene reminds me of the summer when i was grounded and my boyfriend at the time, but best friend now would come to my window every night just to talk to me for just a dew seconds. It would make me smile, and he made me feel like a princess. He's my romeo, and i don't know what i would do without him. he migh t not be my lover right now, but i know he will be later<33

I imagine him being tall dark and handsome. If i had to say that he looks like my friend gage. I see him with long dark hair and a gorgeous smile. I see him always smiling and always making me smile. I see him being a caring person and always there for when i need someone. I also see him always someone that is truly open and will always tell me the truth.

He would also have blonde streeks in his hair and piersing that are ubber hawttttt. He's going to have massivly spiffy clothes and would make me happy. He would always comfort me with his amazing smile and warm hugs. I would love him more then anything else possible. He would always be my romeo.

Premonitions

ummm i really wouldn't say that i've tried to stop bad things from happening, because i need bad things to happen to me. they make me realise that i am human. They also make me stronger. If i tried to prevent everything bad that i scence i wouldn't be who i am today.

By preventing things, it made me sad before, but by allowing things to happen i realise how much i love the possitive things. It also helps me realise that i have no one to depend on. i just have myself and that's all that i need.

shakespeare stuff

I really don't find the lingo that hard. it's fairly easy to understand. The movie was basic language, and was decent. Shakespeare is pretty chill, he has pretty intense work, and was a brialliant man.

Romeo and Juliet sounds intregging. it's going to be better then the other books that we've had to read. With everything i'm going through this is the LAST book i want to read, but whatever. The story is dear to my heart, and i love watching in in Ashland. The play was amazing, and the book is going to be even better.

The Worst Part of Animal Farm ~I love my Devyn!!!!!!!!~

Animal Farm is a very disturbing book because of all of the commandments that have been broken. The pigs are not good and are just trying to make their lives easier while destroying the lives of the other animals. The pigs make up everything just so they can continue you to rule even though Jones was better. The pigs are acting worst then Jones because they are minipulating the other animals into thinking that they are doing work because they want to, when really it's because they want to eat food and survive.

The Pigs are also breaking all of the commandments by changing them to what suits them best. They already broke over half of the commandments, because they were close to being exposed for what they truly are. The other animals are brained washed in to thinking that their lives are good when they truly stink. Old Major's dream was for the animals to live in peace, but not it the "peace" that Nepolion created the wold.

Animal Farm is WAYYYYY better then To Kill A Mockingbird, and actually keeps me interested, and sometimes makes me want to read more. I have to say that Animal Farm is a good book, and has a great way of tying historical events in with a fictional story, that keeps you questioning. The book is slow at times, but still always has an interesting point. The story also does reflect on modern day life because you'll always have the people that want to rebell, have people that follow the crowd, and some people that don't want to change at all.

My favorite character so far is Snowball. He's so adorable, and is treated very cruely. Snowball is a very good character because he shows that even if people go with the crowd, and figure it out soon or later, it can destroy it. Snowball is the person that you should be afraid of because he could possibly take over, and not even mean to because he's just following his gut.

After the High School life

With all of the things i have to do to graduate, I'm more concerned with failing myself, then not reaching the requirements. The school says i have to have a D to pass a test, but for personal standards i have to have an A, and i don't have all A's i believe that i failed. Reaching all the requirements is not going to be a problem, it's just trying to fit them in to my course load my junior and senior year while i am attending running start and new market. I know that if i don't over load my self I' not going to reach my full potential. I also have to keep going to the WSU workshops that I'm attending. I also have to practice and play my heart out if i want to get a scholarship  on my oboe and get in to a top preforming school if i don't get into WSU.

I'm hoping that by pushing myself to my full potential in high school i will be able to complete any dreams and goals i have for later on in life. If i slack through high school i know i wont do well in the future. I'm hoping get expirences that will also help me later on in life that will make me a better person. High School, a scary thing, is my future. If i fail now, i'll never amount to anything, which will always be my biggest fear. So pretty much i need to do well. 

movie vs. book

An important similarity between the book and movie, is the mutual fascination between Arthur Radley and the children. Arthur, or Boo as the children called him, left them gifts such as dolls, a watch, and chewing gum in the hollow of a tree in his yard. The children made expeditions to the Radley house to look in the window just so they could catch a glimpse of Boo Radley. I believe this captivation was important to the story line because it was the main foundation of the children's imagination. A big part of the story was imagining Boo to be some kind of freak that came out at night to eat cats and squirrels.

This part of the book is close to my heart because i have been boo countless times in my life, and i know that i personally didn't like being judged. When the kids believe all of the rumors being spread about Boo, i got testy because people spread rumors about me, like i'm a "slut/whore" and it hurts. Boo though doesn't allow people to bring him down because he believes in saving those who can't save themselves. The author and producer of the book and movie did a good job at the scences involving Boo and that's pretty much how i imaganed it!

This book changed my life

I can't say that this book changed my life, execpt for the fact that it's taught me to over come bordem. This book had points in which i would give up reading because it was "killing" me. it also taught me that things in life aren't always going to be happy and exciting, so i have to learn to deal with less exciting events. This book was dull to me but it had its moments which harper lee did an outstanding job writing, and that's what happens in life.

The main lesson i learned from this book was from Atticus. He always tells the children, “you never really understand a person until you consider things from their point of view.”(30) A hard and complicated event to take place in because it's easy to judge people, but by doing what Attiucs says it shows who the bigger person is. The people that i dislike now can truly be the people that will save me in the end, and i have expirenced that personaly. So i try to live each day like Atticus because equality is key.

Life Lessons

Throughout To Kill A Mockingbird, Jem and Scout learn numerous life lessons, but a major lesson that Scout learns is, even the innocent die cruelly. When Atticus comes to the house during the party he tells Aunt Alexandra, Calpurnia, Miss Maudie, and Scout, "...seventeen bullet holes in him." (235) Scout then learns that even though Tom is a sweet, kind-hearted, and nonviolent man, he has to die because of society. She also learns that because Tom was the man trying to escape it was okay to slaughter him, by shooting him at least 17 times, but if it was a white man the guard would have only shot to injure. This lesson is very important for Scout to learn because she is now faced with the racist and slaughtering future of Maycomb, which hopefully her generation will be able to fulfil.

I, myself have faced numerous events in my life, but the end result luckily wasn't death. I love my friends to death, and they are the most important people in my life, and I hate it when people assume that they cause violent acts just because of the way that they are dressed. For example, when my friend and me found a guy beaten in Yuager and we went to get help, people just assumed that my friend beat the beaten boy because of the clothes he was wearing. My friend didn't deserve to be sentence to Juvi because he was completely innocent, but society was against him. He luckily wasn't killed, but he was still treated unfairly because of the "stereotype" that he is involved with, which is supposedly violent. I believe that society needs to get the thing stuck up it's butt out and stop judging people, but they actually need to be able to judge a case without seeing the defendant being charged, but just for what their testimony is. If we went off that a lots of innocent people, wouldn't be charged with the so called crimes that they have committed.

Extra Credit

English has always been my passion, and I'd lose myself if i didn't have it. Your class has been moving and modivating, but sometimes dull for me. I came from a school were i was one of the top writers, and we never do any writing or grammar which helps improve my writing skills. Writing is pretty much my drug/oxygen inside my life. It's the only thing there for me when i need someone. English is a beautiful launguage, that i see in my future. It's personaly frustrating me that we don't do any writing. Like I love to read but writing is what is important to me. It's serious has saved my life, and has helped me cope with the hardest things inside of my life. I understand that you have us do these blogs to see our writing, but it's not the same. It's so hard to voice opionions inside of these blogs. I am a writer that lives to inform and speek nothing but the truth, and it's hard because we're always writing on the same and basic themes. I need more of a challenage that is going to make me forshadow, concentrate, and actually apply myself.

However, I love you being my teacher! you are so cool and you always make class intersting and unique. The class is also ubber awesome and i'm glad that i'm in yours. You show that you care about the material that you teach us and aren't like one of those teachers that act like they love what they're teaching, but they really hate it. So i admire you for being passinate in what you teacher us. You're class is extreamly fun, and i've been learning a lot from to Kill A Mockingbird. You are a teacher that knows her stuff and does whatever it takes to teach us, even though we can be a frustrating class. So thanks Mrs. Gilman your freakishly cool, and my favorite teacher ^_^

To Kill A Mockingbird Themes

To Kill A Mockingbird has numerious themes but the one theme that stands out to me is cruelty and segregation. The title To Kill A Mockingbird means that you shouldn't attack those who are innocent and can't defend themselvs, and the book shows countless events in which innocent people are attacked. Dill feels like his family is better off without him, and he just feels like he's in the way. Dill feels this way because his parents act like they have better things to do then be with him, so he runs away to keep him self from getting hurt. Boo Radley is also another Mockingbird. All of the events that took place in his life drove him crazy, he didn't ask for what happened for him, but the people of Maycomb destoryed him and took away his innocence, which caused him to go crazy.

Two mockingbirds that are formed in the later chapters are Mayella Ewell and Tom Robinson. Mayella Ewell is a mockingbirdll because of what her father did to her. She had to lie under oath beacause her father scared and beat her for being in love with Mr. Robinson. When Mayella says, "that nigger yonder took advantage of me," she was just trying to make her father happy even if she destroys her slef in the long run. The last major mockingbird in the story so far is Tom Robinson. Just because Tom is a black man everyone assumes that he did rape Mayella, and Tom didn't do it. During this just because he was a man of color he was going to lose. Anyone could have just made up a case and Tom would have been condemed anyways. All in all, this book has many themes, but the themes that stood out to me the most were cruelty and sugergation.

Atticus as a Father

Atticus is an attentive, positive, protective, golden-hearted father to his children. He is an attentive father when he tells the children, “I’d rather you shot at tin cans in the back yard, but I know you’ll go after birds. Shoot all the blue jays you want, if you can hit ‘em, but remember it’s a sin to kill a mockingbird (90).” It shows that Atticus has a place in his heart for those who are innocent and can’t defend themselves, like the people of color in this time period. Atticus is hinting to the children that caring for the colored people is like caring for innocent defenceless organisms A.K.A the mockingbirds. Another time that Atticus was protective was when he was talking to Uncle Jack about what the future holds, and he knows that Scout is listening, but he doesn’t tell Scout to leave until he made his point. Atticus is trying to protect the people that he loves the most, even if it brings him down.

Atticus and my parents are alike and also different. My parents, like Atticus, teach me lessons that will help and benefit me in the future, even if they’re pointless now. My parents also have taught me that you have to take care of those who are less fortunate then you because they are the people that are innocent. My parents are unlike Atticus though because they have to know everything going on in my life and they love to pry. My parents are also unlike Atticus because I was suspected to be a little angel that always wore dresses or skirts, that never swore or talked back. I was supposed to be everything that Scout isn’t. If I ever back sassed my parents are another adult my butt would have been wiped. So yah my parents are like Atticus, but then they are also completely different.

Boo Radley Changing

The first four chapters described Boo as a crazy man who has no heart; however, in chapters 5-9 Harper Lee shows that Boo has a sensitive side. Boo shows that he's been paying attention to Jem and Scout's lives because when Jem lost his pants in the fence, Boo stiches the pants up but makes it look like a child did it. Even though Boo knows that the kids are making fun of him, he really doesn't care. He does everything that he can to keep the kids from getting into trouble so they don't have to go through the same pain and misery that he had to go through.

By Scout talking to Miss Maudie about Boo, I do believe that Boo is a good guy. Scout also learns that Mr. Radley stays inside the house so he can keep a good eye on Boo. Miss Maudie also says, "This is a sad house. I remember Arthur Radley when he was a boy. He always spoke nicely to me no matter what folks said he did. spoke nicely as he knew how." by hearing Miss Maudie say that Scout starts to understand that Boo is the way that he is now because of the way his father was when he was younger. So I do believe that Boo is a good guy, but is just confused because of the way that he was brought up.
